Our cottages and farmhouse are set in 18 acres of countryside in a tranquil, rural location surrounded by lush farmland and providing an ideal peaceful retreat for families and friends. The cottages have been furnished and equipped to provide all you will need for a comfortable holiday break in the heart of North Wales.
The farmhouse retains many traditional features including a range cooker, oak beamed ceilings and two woodburners, one housed in a slate inglenook fireplace and also offers a large dining space that can seat up to 22 people, ideal if you choose to book the cottages together. Experience wonderful stargazing on a clear night, plus there is an abundance of wildlife right on the doorstep and unspoilt walking access as soon as you step outside.
The farmhouse and cottages are situated on the edge of the Mynydd Hiraethog (Denbigh Moors) and are a short distance from Llyn Brenig, the Alwyn and Aled reservoirs and the Clocaenog Forest, they also provide an ideal base for off roading/scrambling and cycling. A short drive to the north provides easy access to Abergele and the North Wales coastline, while 10 miles to the west you will find Victorian Betws-y-Coed and the Snowdonia National Park.
With a plethora of exciting day trips and places to explore, our cottages make a comfortable holiday base, at any time of the year.

Llansannan

The pretty rural Welsh village of Llansannan lies equidistant between Denbigh, Llanwrst and Abergele, and offers a local general store, Post Office and friendly village pub. LLansannan is nestled on the banks of the River Aled, just 8 miles from the North Wales coast, with Colwyn Bay and Rhyl easily accessible. The town of Denbigh is 8 miles to the east and dates back to the 11th century, the remains of a 13th century castle dominate the town commanding some superb views over the surrounding countryside. A busy little town, Denbigh provides a variety of shops and pubs, and a number of events including walking festivals, beer festivals, the Denbigh and Flint Annual Show, the ClayArt Potters Market and a monthly People's Market. Within easy reach of Denbigh are the cathedral at St Asaph, the castle at Bodelwyddan, the seaside resorts of Rhyl, Prestatyn or Colwyn Bay, and the historic city of Chester, over the border into England. The Snowdonia National Park is a short drive, with its stunning lakes, mountains, walking and cycling, while the Lleyn Peninsula and excellent beaches on the Isle of Anglesey are ideal for a day trip. There is plenty to see and do from Llansannan at any time of the year!
